Learn about curb parking policies in Cully
Please join the Cully Association of Neighbors for our November 2024 transportation and land use meeting. For this hybrid meeting, join on Zoom or in person in the event space at Las Adelitas (6735 NE Killingsworth St).
In this meeting, we'll discuss street parking in Cully and which curb parking management policies might work in busy areas. The Cully Triangle area around NE Cully Blvd & Killingsworth St has seen significant housing growth and demand for curb parking in the past few years. Residents in the area contacted CAN to ask how the city might improve parking rules to adjust to the increased number of cars.
Kristan Alldrin and Rae-Leigh Stark from the Portland Bureau of Transportation's parking staff will provide their Parking 101 presentation to teach us what policies are in place across Portland. We'll discuss which policies might work at the Cully Triangle and in other growing areas. We'll also hear from Paulina Salgado of Tri-Met about a possible new bus terminus at the Cully Triangle, which would bring improved transit service and further changes to the street layout in the area.

Please note that CAN will not host a second Tuesday neighborhood gathering in November. The transportation and land use meeting on Nov 19 will be CAN's only public event in November.
The next neighborhood gathering will be CAN's holiday celebration on Dec 10.

Neighborhood Gatherings are on 2nd Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm, held at least 4 times per year between September and June. CAN Members are all persons who live, work, hold a business license, or own property within the boundaries of Cully.
