David Sweet and Chris Browne both took this class and recommend it to everyone. This class teaches you the history and the thinking behind the city of Portland’s current and future vision of our transportation systems. This class fills up fast so sign up early.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation & Portland State University are pleased to announce the 2018 PSU Traffic and Transportation Class, which offers Portland residents the opportunity to learn about the city’s transportation system while working on actual neighborhood projects that affect the community. As an affiliate of the Cully Association of Neighbors, I’m writing to kindly ask you to share this announcement with your network.

The class offers participants the opportunity to work with decision and policy-makers, planners, scholars and engineers to get their neighborhood transportation projects moving.

This interactive PSU class is open to Portland residents. Full scholarships are available for the 10-week course, which begins September 27th and meets Thursday nights from 6:40-8:40 p.m. The classes are live-streamed for participants who might otherwise not be able to attend in person on the PSU campus in downtown Portland.
