At our May Transportation and Land use Committee meeting we will hear from Francesca Patricolo of PBOT about PedPDX, the new citywide pedestrian plan. Some Cully residents recently expressed concern that PedPDX would mean new sidewalks where they are not wanted. Come get the scoop and express your thoughts about sidewalks in Cully. David Backes of PBOT will also be here to talk about a project coming this year to create a Simpson Neighborhood Greenway, connecting the Holman Greenway to the 50’s Greenway and including an improved crossing of 42nd at Simpson Ct. David can update us on this and other upcoming projects in Cully.

Afterward we will learn about a proposed 6-unit development at 5970 NE 60th Avenue (corner of Ainsworth). Everything I know about it is in the meeting request attached below. This project has been put on hold because PDOT wants street improvements all around.
