Subject: Killingsworth Repaving and Safety Project

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to reach out with an update on the Killingsworth project for Living Cully. Repaving will take place next week (weather dependant). We upgraded the type of resurfacing we are doing to a grind an inlay, which will further extend the life of the pavement. Our pavement manager looked at the corridor and we are only going to resurface the travel lanes. The rest of the street is in good condition and would not benefit from this treatment.

The safety features of this project, including the islands and bike lanes have, unfortunately, been delayed until the spring. This is due to several factors, one of which is the early and persistent rain. This project will be the top priority for next season.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Mimi
